& Other Stories Lipgloss: Review and Swatches

If you have read my previous post, you would know that I went to the new store "& Other Stories" (run by the H&M group) and bought a few things - one of them is a red lipgloss.

Since then, I have been wearing this lipgloss everyday! I am just loving this lipgloss!

The colour I bought is Carda Red Lame, a raspberry red with glitter in it.

The tube has 6 ml of product in it. I like the packaging, it is a very sleek tube. The silver top makes it very easy to find it in my makeup bag.

It has a "soft flocked" applicator. The tip is not those traditional slanted shape, this one is flat and square, which when I first looked at it, I didn't think much about it. But after my first use, I am in love with the applicator! The shape is in fact brilliant! It carries the perfect amount of product on the tip for application.

This raspberry red is just so amazing and intense. The gloss has glitter in it, you can put a little in the centre of your lips and blend it out for a soft shimmering effect, or you can build up the intensity as you wish.

The texture is the essence of this lipgloss - I hate sticky lipgloss, whether they are drugstore or high end brands, I always find them too sticky for my liking. This gloss is not sticky at all! Instead it feels very moisturising. The gloss feels very comfortable on the lips.

The whole range has 28 colours in total, some are glittery like this one and some are not. It is £7 each, the quality is superb for this price. They are available in their London store or their online shop.

Go and check them out!

"Are you serious?" I know what you are thinking. Wetherspoon pubs have revamped their menu and food quality, but the price has stayed low.

Budget Buy: MUA nail polish in Natural Days

When I was in Superdrug to buy the Tiffany colours (NYC nail polishes  - check out my blog post here ), as the offer was 3 for 2 across all nail polishes, I picked up a MUA polish as my freebie. I saw this pastel baby pink colour in Natural Days. The colour looks really cute in the bottle.

Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum

Lately I have been obsessed with the Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum . In the past I tried the Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, it was alright but I didn’t find the result that amazing. So when I got a sample of for this Estee Lauder Enlighten Serum, I didn’t have high hopes … But how wrong I was! The sample bottle lasted me for two generous weeks and after that I rushed out to get the full size. Although it is called a serum, it is a light milky lotion texture, it is easily absorbed into skin and it feels moisturising. With the sample bottle, I used it every night after my cleansing routine. I can see visible results to my face after two weeks. My blemish marks are significantly lighter (my main concern) and the skin tone for the rest of my face is visibly more even.  Now I have the full size bottle (30ml, also available in 50ml size), I am going to follow the instructions to use it both day and night. Use it at night to reduce
